THE PRESENTS!!!!

With Christmas right around the corner another aspect of Christmas is the presents. It is a time of giving. You buy something for another person and give it to them. Or you make something special for an individual and give it to them. This is all great. Here is a question, have you ever considered what the greatest gift ever given? Take a while to think about it. .................................................... OK ready its The Savior. Yes the Son of God was the greatest gift ever given. He was given to the world to redeem the people. He was given to the world because of the love of our Father in Heaven. He is and always will be the greatest gift. So when Christmas is here remember Jesus Christ who is why we celebrate Christmas.

The Lights

Another aspect of Christmas is all the Christmas lights you see around towns. Well try thinking about it this way. Jesus Christ is known as the light of the world. When He was born a star was shown in the sky. A light. There are many things that relate to him that are lights. In the Book of Mormon found in Helaman chapter 14 Samuel the Lamanite says there will be one day as if there was no night. So as you go around looking at the lights on houses and trees try thinking of it as the light of Christ.

It's approaching

With the Christmas season soon upon us let's reflect back to Christ. In the world today there is not much seen in the world about our Savior. In front yards you see inflatable Santa's, Snowmen, and other joy's of Christmas. However Christmas is to celebrate the birth of the Son of God. So as you go these next couple of weeks getting ready for Christmas remember that we celebrate the Christ Child. Remember what He has done for you. I know that He was born of the virgin Mary. I know He grew and did what He did for us because He loves us. I know that He lives.
